Fog at Naniboujou

This series is named after the historic Naniboujou Lodge, influenced by Cree designs and art deco. It's painted bright orange, red, green, blue and yellow. It sits at what is thought to be a haunted confluence: the Brule River and Lake Superior. I visited the lodge early one still foggy morning, and it was an unforgettable experience of bright colors, tall pines, eery fog and a confluence deceivingly still on the surface.
