Hollow lands and hilly lands

This series from 2003-2004 is currently being restored. I'll add images as they are done. Studio/storage moves, several exhibits...stuff gets dinged. I'm so enjoying revisiting this series though. This work is an homage to my Dad, who died in 2003. It's inspired by the multi-generation family farm where I spent my childhood, where my parents worked the land. It's sits in the rich lands of the Minnesota River Valley, next to a small village named Green Isle. The area was settled by lively hard-working refugeees from Ireland's Great Hunger. The titles all come from poems by Yeats.
