Safe harbor

I’m a seasonal disabled climate migrant; part of a marginalized group impacted by climate crisis. My primary residence, the Sonoran Desert, has become increasing difficult for my body to tolerate due to extreme heat and wildfires. I am fortunate to figure out a way to take summer refuge on the north shore of Lake Superior. These personal landscapes reflect moments I feel safe along my migration journeys. Water is harvested from local sources to create these works.
